- Font Control is an FKEY, a little program you can start up by pressing a Command-Shift-number combination on your keyboard.
- You really need this FKEY if you own a Imagewriter or a StyleWriter and would like to decently print texts.
- The Apple drivers for these printers do not include a Fractional Widths option, so the printed text is misaligned.
- It lets you use TrueType typefaces even if the corresponding bitmap fonts are available.
- Moreover, you can avoid that ugly distortion extending beyond the ascent and/or the descent line, such as caps characters with accents, tildes, etc.
